Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain after Madrid. After going through the residential streets, the H residence stands in the middle of the sloping road leading to the mountains. The building was renovated by the Spanish maestro architect Alfredo Arribas. However, There were an remark on the building that it wouldn't fit in the traditional town streets, and as a result, the building ended up being sold. The couple accidentally encountered this real estate property and decided to do the second renovation with Arribas.
After going through the entrance, the commanding large deck terrace and greens spreading in the sloping southeast can be seen. There is a guest room on the second floor in the basement, a living room on the first floor in the basement, a dining kitchen on the 1st floor, a master bedroom and a den on the 2nd floor, and the children's room on the 3rd floor. This building consists of five layers and from each room one has a spectacular view. When one walks through from the dining kitchen on the 1st floor through the vaulted ceiling to the independent southeast space, one can open up the door and it becomes an outdoor living area, taking in lots of outdoor elements. When you go down three staircases from the living room, there is an outdoor living area and underneath is a swimming pool and free-purpose space. Everything is established with split-levels to go along the slope of the land. By creating a few relaxing spaces, the slope became a high dwelling character space in the outdoors. Sofas and tables from the German outdoor furniture manufacturer DEDON are laid out everywhere so people can relax just like being inside. "This area is blessed with good weather throughout a year and this house with great views made me realize the comfort of outdoor and the necessity of furniture." said the wife. Undulating outdoor living teaches us a new way of enjoying the outdoors.
