"BVLGARI HOTELS & RESORTS MILAN"
Affair with Travel in No.25 features the hotel in Milan, "BVLGARI HOTELS & RESORTS MILAN"(P.100). This hotel is located in the private area, going north on the little alley from Manzoni street where La Scala is located. It's such an urban hide-out hotel. The contrast between the 400m2 private green garden which surrounds a building and sharp black and white interior made a vivid impression. Design is done by Antonio Citterio and landscaping is done by Sofie Agatha Ambrose. This garden used to be a vegetable garden for the monastery and now there are a big beech tree and chestnut tree in the background. Also bay tree topiary and oversized umbrellas are placed in the garden. Having breakfast in this garden terrace must be refreshing and taste extra delicious. Menu would be simply fresh fruits, freshly baked breads and organic jelly. It is quite common among Italians that if the weather is good, people dine outside. There are 58 guest rooms and the number of rooms surely shows the urban hide-out scale. However, Spa is built into the hotel and this accentuates the upscale brand "BVLGARI" hotel. The art on the lobby wall changes every 3 months and the arrangement of white hydrangea and driftwood was giving somewhat soft nuance to a sharp foyer space.
